Wolf in Sheeps Clothing - Teaching and Counselling Tool

The 'Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing' is a striking teaching and counselling tool that can be used by parents, teachers, chaplains, and counsellors.  It includes a bonus animated PowerPoint.

At first glance it looks like a beautiful sheep (soft toy).  At the appropriate time, the face is removed to show a wolf hiding beneath.

A wolf dressed in sheep’s clothing is likened to someone whois pretending to be something that they are not.  This powerful analogy devised by Aesop(around 600 to 500 BC) in his famous fable, can help children discern between those that are genuine and those that are not. It is particularly effective for children in situations where there is risk of harm, such as those who are bullied or who are victims of all kinds of abuse,.

Teaching/Counselling applications include:

  • To teach children to discern so they can tell the difference between those that want to do them harm, and those that are realfriends.
  • To teach children not to become a part of a bully situation.
  • Sexual Abuse
  • Bullying
  • Substance Abuse
  • Internet predators
  • Emotional Abuse
