Especially to the children and to the children’s teachers who are not normally in ‘grown-up’ church.

Choose from several video clips available on the 2010 Children’s Ministry Resources DVD that highlight the importance of reaching children.

 

Prayers

1. For children who are not honoured in your community.  (E.G. victims of violence, neglect, abuse, especially those who do not hear the gospel)

2. For your church that you would be a church that increasingly ministers to children.

3. Help to be a child friendly church.

Prayer for those in other countries where children are especially hurt.

The children may put on an item here or someone could do a drama or song.

 

Highlight

The Children’s Ministry Leader can highlight some of the activities that take place in the children’s ministry and the good things that God has been doing in the lives of the children.  Use power point with photos.

 

Special Event

Honour those in the congregation that honours children.  Give certificates or gifts.
